Life B.K. (before kids) was totally different.
The year before the kidlets began to arrive, we took two fabulous trips. One to the Caribbean to sail on the trimaran, ENCORE, and another to snow ski in Chamonix, France, Mont Blanc and surrounding areas. Both trips just fell together; the way it happens when you know it was meant to be. I never could have created the space, time and resources to make these things happen all on my own. The idea presented itself; some dreams ensued and the rest just kept falling into place with very few restrictions. I'm not sure how we would have not gone on these two trips.
More on the trips later... I'm glad we were able to go. I was pretty close to going by myself since my DH was reluctant to be so adventurous. It was my nature, however, to SEIZE THE DAY and live whatever was put in my path to the fullest.
