Hot Water

Who ever thinks about the privilege of enjoying hot water?  We take it for granted that when we expect it to be there, it is.  Instantly present, but only a slight delay until the temperature is what we are looking for.  Can you imagine what a single day would be like without this commodity?  How spoiled we are!  What earthly pleasure hot water brings. How decadent we are to linger in the stream of the shower in the morning; to let the kitchen sink faucet flow wastefully away as we chat on the phone or bark orders to the kids.  Do any of us take even the smallest moment to be thankful for something so simple as hot water?
